Hospice in the Pines is a program of comfort and care for patients and families in East Texas. The mission of Hospice in the Pines is to strive in all ways possible to relieve the physical, emotional, and spiritual pain brought on by a life-threatening illness with the highest level of integrity which is a labor of love willingly undertaken by the staff and its volunteers. We pride ourselves on setting the standard for ethical and moral business practice. We extend care to all persons regardless of their ability to pay as a non-profit organization. Services
Hospice in the Pines offers in-home care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also have an in-patient facility with continuous skilled care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For patients and families traveling to the Lufkin area for medical services, there is a private 30 room facility providing inexpensive lodging. Staff resides on site 7 days a week.
