From the High Country of Colorado to the Lowcountry of South Carolina, this is where Charlene Gardner and her family call home. Moving here in 1985, she saw opportunity in this developing tourist area. Working for women-owned community-based small businesses helped guide her to take the challenge of starting her own business.In 1998, Four Corners Framing was born. Start up focused on custom framing, including work for other galleries and designers on Hilton Head Island. Bluffton was emerging as an art destination, so the timing was good. Charlene soon expanded Four Corners to include gallery space to show artists' work as well as the framing. Four Corners is a space filled with a wonderful variety of collectable art. The experienced staff masters the art of framing with innovative, informed and creative concepts. As a community member, Charlene takes an active role on a number of community based boards with the hope of making our community a better place for our visitors to come and for all of us to call home
